Join us on March 28th for a hands-on workshop using low-cost materials and easy construction techniques!
Deer exclosures are one of the most important tools in addressing the crisis of deer overabundance in the Hudson Valley and supporting the regeneration of tree species and restoration of sensitive understory species like spring wildflowers. This workshop will be led by PCA's Forest Health Task Force Chair Eli Arnow, a land steward and deer management advocate. The workshop will take place on private property from 9:30-12:30 pm, and the address will be provided upon registration.
Attendees should be comfortable navigating uneven terrain and hiking 10-15 minutes through steep moderate-to-difficult terrain to access the exclosure site. Tools, take-home resources, and hot drinks will be provided.
